Revenue Spark Announces the Revenue Spark 100: Ranking the Very Best in Green Sustainable Companies Around the World
The New Global Standard Recognizing Where Corporate Sustainability Meets Profitability
NEW YORK, NY, January 13, 2010 /Natural Resources PR News/ -- Revenue Spark is proud to announce the introduction of the Revenue Spark 100, the new international standard for recognizing and ranking, in order, the very best companies in the sustainable marketplace. Areas for consideration include: Renewable Energy Technologies, Efficiency Innovations, Waste Reclamation and Optimization, Carbon Trading, Green Consumer Products, and more.
The Revenue Spark 100 ranking methodology takes into account a "60 / 30 / 10" approach, with applicant companies being graded on a basis of: 60% for Sustainability (the applicant company's ratio of finite resource input vs output); 30% for Profitability (the applicant company's reported net income); and 10% for Vision (the applicant company's mission statement).
Founder and CEO Steve Messere says, "We're creating the new global standard for ranking the world's most sustainable, profitable companies. The Revenue Spark 100 is a worldwide 'Best Of' sustainable companies list, ranking the top companies, both public and private, in the sustainable growth arena."
Sustainable companies looking to be ranked on the Revenue Spark 100 in 2010 may apply for consideration (utilizing fiscal data compiled from 2008 - 2009) by submitting their applications beginning June 1 2010. Final deadline for submissions is June 30 2010. Revenue Spark will announce the 2010 Revenue Spark 100 list on September 10 2010, followed by a gala awards ceremony in New York City on October 10 2010.
